Roger in quarters
The world No. 1 and home favourite is bidding to win his sixth Swiss Indoors crown, and enters this year's tournament as defending champion. Only once has Roger failed to take home the trophy since he first triumphed in 2006, and he survived a second-set blip to win 6-3, 6-7(6), 7-5 against Bellucci.
Roger went into a 3-0 lead within 10 minutes. As is typical of a champs performance, a solitary break was all he needed to close out the set, although he did have to save two break points against him as he attempted to serve it out. Bellucci fought back early in the second, taking Roger to a tie break after games had gone with serve. Bellucci stormed into a 6-2 lead to create four set points. Our Champ saved all four but eventually relented as the Brazilian levelled the match. Forced to a third set, Roger came out fighting, creating a break point in Bellucci's first service game. He failed to convert on that occasion but eventually made the decisive breakthrough helped by a Bellucci double fault. By this time Roger was back in control and closed out the match delighting his fans who had been sitting on the edge of their seats for the last two sets.
Roger will meet the winner of Lukasz Kubot and Benoit Paire in the last eight.

Well done on playing and winning a very good game of tennis.Tennis is very rarely a breeze [would be boring for us players if it was!]even for the best/top players. As long as you come through CONSISTENTLY is all that matters and you are cerainly a master at that.
Bellucci is like so many players that can, at times play brilliantly, other times not so.As you mentioned in your interview he invariably do so against the top players
Sorry to see Stan bow out of the tournament
Please be your play in control of the match, too in quaters.
Please maintain good physical condition, and go to win.
Go! Go!
Dont do that to us Roger we just want you to win and at the moment you are still number one.You need to keep winning to stay at number one up your game Roger as you did last year.

With you all the way to the final
