Dear Roger, so glad you opted not to play in Paris if you have any injuries you need to rest and let yourself heal, sorry that it means you will lose the no. 1 ranking but to your many fans and admirers you will forever be no. 1.
It is amazing how you play and are playing at such a high standard when your big rival in the past Roddick has now retired and you are taking on the 'young guns' of the game.

Actually I kind of happy you made this decision. I feel you really play too much tennis this year. You definitely need some rest. Don't push yourself to the limit. You cannot have all those mental and physical stress nonstop. It is impossible to play three weeks in a row in such high level. Mental and physical rest is very important. You know it well more than anybody. I will follow you in London and I know you will give yourself 100% there.
