Europe's Athlete of the Year

27.12.2006 | Off Court

Roger has once again been awarded the title as Europe's Best Athlete of the Year, a poll carried out by the Polish news-agency PAP. A total of 16 news-agencies throughout Europe took part in the vote.

It is already Roger's third victory in series after 2004 and 2005. The places after him go to - with a respectable distance - Spain's two-time Formula-1 world champion Fernando Alonso and Italy's football world champion Fabio Cannavaro, who has just recently been awarded the title as World Football Player of the Year.

I wonder if you get jaded with all these awards.
Hopefully not, because each speaks of the achievements you had this last year. Wishing you more in the new year, and hoping this will be your Grand Slam year. It's doable by you !!
Best wishes , GSFed (Gr

I am not surprised at all. You are truly the BEST. I would say Good Luck in 2007 but you win because you are the best not because of luck. Can't wait for it to start.
