PS *Federatorbrook*. The homogenizations of court surfaces, i.e. most are medium-slow, even Wimbledon much slower, is big issue for everyone who loves tennis. Of course if you want to see grinding baseline games with no variety encouraged by these slow surfaces, then fine. If you want to see the type of tennis our champ displays adopted by other players, then tournaments need to re-think on surfaces. That's what Roger is talking about. He adapts better than anyone.

Excellent schedule. Missing Miami where you only went to 3rd round this year; playing Montreal and Paris which you didn't play this year and could pick up lots of points. And plenty of breaks to rest and get in that intense practice that you missed this year. Looks great. Sorry for you Mitganz: can't you get money back, it's a long way away. Not retirement, just sensible schedule for our champ to go for a few more years and win a few more trophies. Enjoy holiday gorgeous man, you deserve it. xxx

Im a little bit mad with your 2013 schedule.
Im from Chile and this year i went to the USOpen Semifinals and final just to see you and you loose at quarters... and now i have plane tickets to Miami and tickets to Sony Ericsson Open just to see you before you retired... and for the first time in 14 years yo dont go to Miami... I Little bit dissapointed with your calendar

With that calendar you cant be world number 1... and it seems like you are preparing the retirement

i guess you realize that number 1 is not an option for you anymore. try to win some titles and more records if possible. it will be tough against top ten players but you can catch a break. please no more crying about surfaces. it's the same for every player. you are not exempt.

I know people want you to play more. But you need to recharge. This schedule looks good. You have to defend three big titles: Indian Wells, Madrid and Wimbledon. Maybe try to snatch titles from other tournaments that have the some points such as Aussie Open, Montreal, and Paris. I would like you stay on top two.

I'm scared that with this schedule he won't be able to go back to number 1..
