Roger's 2013 schedule

Roger's tournament schedule for 2013 is out: he is planning to play the following tournaments in 2013, plus hopefully the ATP World Tour Finals in London. 


The 2013 schedule is as follows:

Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, Dubai
BNP Paribas Open, Indian Wells
Mutua Madrid Open, Madrid
Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Rome
Roland Garros, Paris
Gerry Weber Open, Halle
Wimbledon
Rogers Cup, Montreal
Western & Southern Open, Cincinnati
US Open, New York
Shanghai Rolex Masters, Shanghai
BNP Masters , Paris

As I presumed, at 31 Roger's only goal is to win grand slams. With this schedule it is obvious that he can' return to no 1 anymore. But I don't mind. It is important thet you stay healthy and to win slams.

I hope I can manage to go at least one of those as I live in Japan.I'd really like Roger to play throughout the season without injury.

Comparing this schedule to the one for 2012,he isn't going to play Doha,Miami and Basel,probably because the tournament schedule at the end of the year has 3 tournaments(Basel, Paris, London)in three concecutive weeks what is very hard to play,especially for Roger at his 31.Same like this year,he isn't going to play Monte Carlo and Toronto.
In mi point of view,taking no.1 spot on ATP Rankings won't be one of his goals,because with that kind of schedule,I think he can't manage to come on the top.
