Final against Nadal

Our Champ has made it through to the final in Rome with a 7-6(5),6-4 win over 36 seed Benoit Paire to set the juices flowing with the prospect of another Nadal clash. As against Janowic, Roger was pushed by some excellent play but again showed his class on the important points. Our Champ had to overcome a break of serve half way through the first set and went on to win the tiebreaker. Roger then went in front early in the second set and never looked back.

Now comes the big one against his old rival Nadal – the way they are both playing at the moment promises another Roger - Nadal classic. "It's nice to have these revival moments for both of us," Roger said. "I'm sure we're both looking forward to it. I clearly am."

Well done Roger. You played great what an incredible lob among all the other awesome shots! Love when you're sliding and you hit the ball. Now just one more to go!

I don't know about these guys but to me it would be out of this world amazing, playing with you, like trying your best and giving all you got but getting hit by all your magnificent power and getting beaten badly by you, I would die of pleasure!

2-All the very best for the final. Just as you play everyone else, there's nothing different about him, he is just like everyone else. Everyone have their assets so what? You're better. You have all the resources, you can find the way. Believe in yourself, give yourself the chance. You know him, you know what bothers him, you know what to do, you know how to beat him and YOU CAN DO IT Roger! Fight! Aim to kill!!!

FANCYFREE, it irks me that someone out there always SHAKE A MIKE IN THAT MALLORCAN ORANGUTAN'S FACE 'CUZ HE CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH PROPERLY ANYHOW, like who can really understand his Spanglish, seriously???

It's also bizarre how Roger always get the short end of the draw stick as well...

Oh, well, let's Roger take it to RN & send that ape back to Mallorca where he belongs!!

Newsflash, Robba: RN ALWAYS COMPLAIN OF SOME INJURY WHENEVER HE LOSES BIG OR EARLY 'CUZ HE SIMPLY HATES TO LOSE, i.e. THAT'S HIS MENTAL TOUGHNESS U'RE TALKIN' ABOUT. He doesn't GIFT his opponents. He makes them BEAT him.

deep down, he really HATES our champ for making winning looks so darn easy 'cuz HE HAS TO BEAT UP ON HIS EVERY OPPONENT, see??

RN's NOT a natural player---He's a NATURAL COMPETITOR!

Our champ's a natural player, that's why he's wonderful to watch...
