Australian Open: the draw

Next week, Roger will start his quest for a fifth title at the Australian Open in Melbourne. The draw results are now out and Roger got a though one.

Roger will play in the first round on Monday or Tuesday against France's Benoît Paire. In the second round our champ could face Nikolay Davydenko (Russia/ATP 40).

In the next round a meeting with the Australian talent Bernard Tomic (64) could be possible. Potential opponents in a quarter- final are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP 8) or Richard Gasquet (ATP 10). In the semifinals, Roger could play Andy Murray, who won the last Grand Slam tournament in New York in September.

Whatever happens, I am so glad I will see you play again! I've missed your beautiful tennisstrokes. I sometimes watch the wimbledonfinal again, just to feel good again. I never get tired of it.
