Australian Open: the draw
11.01.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Next week, Roger will start his quest for a fifth title at the Australian Open in Melbourne. The draw results are now out and Roger got a though one.
Roger will play in the first round on Monday or Tuesday against France's Benoît Paire. In the second round our champ could face Nikolay Davydenko (Russia/ATP 40).
In the next round a meeting with the Australian talent Bernard Tomic (64) could be possible. Potential opponents in a quarter- final are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP 8) or Richard Gasquet (ATP 10). In the semifinals, Roger could play Andy Murray, who won the last Grand Slam tournament in New York in September.

I know he has to take one match at a time and that he can't dwell on it because it would only effect his play in a bad way, but that is not to say that it is just so frustrating to see what this draw is showing. This just can't be chance..... So much luck on one hand and so much bad luck on the other..... No such luck exists.... But allright, we can't change it. We have to have faith in our man! And I do! I just wish he wouldn't have to work so hard right from the start. Go Roger go!
Love to you and your lovely girls

Good luck.
Go for it, one game at a time and you'll get to the top!
You have the support of your millions fans!
But most of all you have the strength and brains to do it.
You know its unfair, I know it, Novak knows it, commentators/critics/other fans know it and the whole tennisworld knows it.
Lets let it go and follow Rogers approche. He takes and wins one match at the time.
Go Roger go. Up to your 5th AO and 18th GS.
Love and respect you yesterday, today, tomorrow and for eternity.
Your fan Kemna
