Roger advances

Roger eased into round three of the Australian Open with a 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory over Russian Nikolay Davydenko. 

 

Roger was in charge right from the start and broke his opponent in the sixth game to take the opening set in 42 minutes. He continued just that way and never faced a break himself throughout the entire match. 

 

Our champ will now face the Aussie crowd favourite Bernard Tomic, whom he beat in straight sets in the second round of last year's Australian Open. "It's nice to see Bernard playing better again. He had a rough end to the season last year, but he's had a wonderful start this year and I hope he can keep it up and crack the big rankings. It's going to be an exciting match. I have got to play tough. I don't mind the physical aspects and maybe that is an advantage for me. I will always play aggressively but we will try to move each other around a bit so it will need a bit more finesse,"  said Roger.

I love your shoes!!!! Great outfit colors match up!!! Pink and grey, so cool! I love the touch/ Black shoes with some shiny part and pink mix is great too!!!!!!!!!!!! Really nice and cutty!
OK now really! Kill the little pretentious kid. I like him, as well as his style of play and his confidence but he will always come after Roger, and in this contexte he needs to be put back in his place! Roger......... Kill him!!!!!

Hi Roger well played you were great just keep it up.
I thought he was a bit disrespectful about you in his press conference that wont please your fans and it did not please me.
You are the greatest player to play this game and he does not even come to the top of your shoe lacers.By the way I love the outfit and the shoes I will get some of the shirts. good luck Roger love always Helen xxxxx

Benard thinks he beat Novak after he had just arrived and jetlegged. If he plays him now , will he bit him? I know Tomic is playing very well and I think his strategy is of a child. If I were hms I would jist surpirse people now that he said it My master Roger Federer will be awaiting him. I think Bernad is playing very weel but for him to say I will bit you even though you can I think its disrespect ful of the game. Roger will come out and sqash. Roger dont let him play his own way
