Roger through in three sets

Roger advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open today with a 6-4, 7-6(5), 6-1 win over Australia's Bernard Tomic.

Roger managed to dominate the much-hyped clash over most parts, breaking Tomic in the first game of the match and ending it with a monster serve. It got a bit tight for Roger in the tie-break in the second set as his opponent came within two points of snatching the set, but our champ saw off the challenge and took the set by winning all of the following points in the tie-breaker from that moment on.

Roger will play Milos Raonic in the next round as he bids for an 18th grand slam title and fifth at Melbourne Park.

Congratulations on a great win AND breaking another record 250th match win in Grand Slams--you are just so amazing in a million ways.Really, watching you live last night I really think that with many aspects of your game you are getting better--breathtaking shots but the tie break was one of the highlights where 4.1 down you remained so focused & seemingly relaxed --no signs of panic--extraordinary.

he rog well played....i think u r getting better and stronger in ur game as well as physically as the tourney is progressing which was not the case from french 2010 to 2011 wimby especially physically...i mean u were great in 2011 french and 2011 wimby play wise...but starting from 2011 us open u started getting stronger as tourney progresses...may be u were hurt or may be im wrong but thats what i think....so be cool,keep up this great attitude and be focused....be STRONGEST

Congrats Roger!!!! it was a great match!!!! Tomic really improved a lot so it was more than a match was a real spectacle, interesting and exciting since the beginning till the end and you won cause you are the G.O.A.T. Your playing was absolutely terrific!!!! lovely outfit and shoes!!!!! by the way I wonder why you put on your vest underneath in the match, were you cold? I hope you are fine, I mean great!!!
