Out against Benneteau

15.02.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger was shocked by Julien Benneteau in the quarter finals of Rotterdam today, losing to the Frenchman 3-6, 5-7.

Roger did not seem his usual self, battling with ill-timed double faults and a bad rhythm in general. Benneteau secured three service breaks, while dropping just one to clearly lead the match. It was only at 2-4 in the second set that Roger finally scored a break after being able to hold serve. Unfortunately he struggled with his serve again at 5-6 and finally had to admit defeat after too many errors including another double fault.

Next up for Roger are the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, starting on February 25th.

Bad days happen, we all know that. J.B. played the match of his life and our Rog was clearly out of rhythm. So sad, but loyal fans will keep supporting no matter what.
Roger, you have nothing to prove and you should only just enjoy your game.
It's such a great pleasure watching your super talent...keep up Rog!!!
Wishing you all the best.
Proud to be youRFan <3

Just not your day today Roger. Too many unforced errors, and Benneteau was able to capitalise on it. A lot of comments about you not keeping well? I hope you are fine. Best wishes always Roger x x.

Too many errors, and bad first serve and on the other hand opponent was good,so the result is this. Was small chance in 11th game of the 2nd set,but his serve was good-bad luck. Some win some lose.Like I said before ,you don't have nothing to prove.Just play and be on the court.Your fan no matter what.Cheer up and rest well Roger.
