Rome

13.05.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

After a first round bye, Roger will either play Radek Stepanek (ATP 48) or Potito Starace (ATP 305) in Rome. He could later meet Tommy Haas (ATP 13), Gilles Simon (ATP 17), Mikhail Youzhny (ATP 31) or Filippo Volandri (ATP 117) in the round of the last 16. In the quarters, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP 8) would be a likely opponent, before playing Andy Murray (ATP 3) or Juan-Martin del Potro (ATP 7) in the semis. A clash with Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal would only be possible in the final.

I am sooo excited: I'm going to London for the ATP Barclays grand finale at the O2 Arena and I can't wait! Could any clever Fed fan please inform me how the point system works for qualifying for the top 8: I realise Roger has a huge number of points before nr 8 on the rankings list and it would be difficult to catch him, but is there a rule that they have to win a certain number of tournaments before they qualify? Can anybody please help?

Roger needs to go out when no one is looking and paint all clay courts blue! Perhaps for the fun of it try a few more colours as well!
Rafa will be so upset about the colour that he will either not play or get too upset to play his best. Roger after all just quietly got on with it, played the tournament and managed to adapt to the conditions.
Come on Roger, believe in your abilities, we do! Get rid of that rust, pick up your magic wand and play your aggressive, clever game again!

Dear Roger, you are such a gentleman and an icon as a tennisplayer.

You deserve the best and the most titles.

Please play well at Rome and RG and please win some titles.
You are the only person who deserves it the most.

Love you and RESPECT you always and forever. No matter what.
You are a hero for the children and you are my hero.

I love you SO MUCH.
You deserve the best and nothing less.
You deserve to be the GOAT and the best in history.
Please make that happen.

I love you,

Like I just wrote. Rafa won the title, but he lost the little bit of respect I had for him.
The way he acted last year and this year, he did not DESERVE the title.

The only person who deserves the title is SERENA. She won it last year on the blue clay and this year on the red clay without whining or threathening.

So hope Rafa gets his due soon. So hope he will be figured out soon.
He does not deserve what he has got.

All the other players and Roger, I hope you all do well.
Please Roge

You know why I don't LIKE Rafa? Because he is SELFISH.
Whined, nagged and threatened to boycott Madrid. And the stupid tournament bended over for him. How did the universe repay him? By winning the title !!! SO UNFAIR. And than he had the NERVE to make a joke in his winning speech about the colour. All the other 100 players adapted last year, but MISTER LOSER did not and this year he undeservedly won. Now, where is the FAIRNESS in that???
He may have won, but he lost my little bit of respect
