In quarters

17.05.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Our Champ has just come through the 3rd round of the Rome masters in fine style against Gilles Simon 6-1, 6-2 in just over an hour. Simon put up a spirited resistance at 2-4 in the second set that produced an 11 minute game but Roger’s shot-making was in fine form and he won out to finish the match with no further problem. Roger stats showed that he finished up with 75% of first serves in and winning 73% of first serve points – impressive by anybody’s standards.

Next up will be Jerzy Janowicz (ATP 24).

Not a smart break point, I would've sliced not sent a low powered backhand ?

I don't like that guy and should he win well that's Rome ruined for me.

RF is playing quit good actually, the break was not to blame.
It happens, JJ serves to good, nothing to do but wait and try hard.
In a likely 3th set i believe in Rf"s experience.
BTW I dont't like those big servers, borring as hell

Goooo RF

It is obvious that Roger will lose this match. I see it in his eyes. He only plays tennis because of Wimbledon, nothing more. Birds on the trees know that. I am completely relaxed and not nervous about his game, because I know this. Good night !

He is having winners flash past him, he is being outsmarted with drop shots. The one thing I like about rafa (Im a rog fan honest) is he donest miss easy balls. Rog does.
