Roland Garros: the draw

24.05.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

The draw for the second Grand Slam of the season, the French Open, is out: Roger will meet a qualifier in the first two rounds. After that, he could play Julien Benneteau (ATP 32) in the following round. A possible quarter-final opponent could either be Gilles Simon (FRA, ATP 17) or Sam Querrey (USA, ATP 20). Our champ could set up a clash with Rafael Nadal (ATP 4) or Novak Djokovic (ATP 1) in the final at Roland Garros.

**BOTING** you are so right. i've learned to beware of the "easy draw". it at least puts nadal and djokovic on the same side, but someone else could trip roger up before he would see a final. this all depends on roger's play. so i will cross my fingers and hope the best.

Dearest Roger,
It looks like a better draw than AO, though I don't like Julien in the third round. I am pleased to know Rafa and Novak in the same half. Well, sometimes a miracle does happen.
Let's go, Roger, a match by match. I wish I were in Paris to cheer you, but I will keep sending the very best of my positive energy for the coming two weeks.
God bless you and your beautiful tennis!
All my love,
Keiko
