Round three in Paris

31.05.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Our Roger came through the 3rd round with a commanding 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 against Benneteau in 91 minutes today.

Every time the Benneteau raised his game so did our champ – even with a break down in the final set Roger broke back at 4-5 for 5-5 and went on to win the set 7-5. Benneteau gave him his stiffest test so far and there was some delightful touch tennis volleys between the two. In the end Roger’s champion’s approach outclassed his opponent.

He will now meet either Sam Querry or Giles Simon in the next round.

Well I just wonder about the children going to school in a year and unable to travel with him. A very lonely time to 2016 to be without his family on tour.

Roger Crazy Fans,

I would like to be completely wrong, because I really love Federer, but playing like he is playing, chances are high that he wont be one of 10 players end of year.

Too much marketing and too low train. He needs to wake up and start to train again, it does not matter that now he has 2 kids. He needs to train or retire to avoid matches like this. Oh, yes, I do not care if he will win. It does not change anything. He needs to have his focus back to tennis or retire.

Federer needs some balls. Oh and to learn to hit a ball more than twice.

Cesardba, these comments about Roger retiring are pointless, he's already said he wants to go on till 2016 when the Olympics will be, then, at the end of that year, he will probably retire.

Mr CESARDBA why he would stop ??? let the man be !! Look at the Brasilian
football team why dont they stop ??

ROGER: listen up man; this is your last, probably very last time to win the RG. It won't get any easier than this, wake the F::: up!!! you can beat this guy. If you're hurt, its ok to quit, but if you're not, then GO GET SOME BALLS AND DO IT. I never understood your down-lows in the middle of the matches...

Roger,

It is a long time since my last post here, maybe more than one year. But facts are facts. You are very rich now, and you do not need tennis anymore. Please retire, you do not need to prove anything to anyone, but please, avoid these too stupid matches like this one against Simon. You have money, lot of money, but you have to train my friend. You are not the same long time ago. Doing lots and lots of unforced errors you wont win even Bellucci from Braziil.

Retire now Federer.

Atleast Roger win this match, so your QF streak won't end

Federer is being outplayed by Simon which is embarrassing. That and the mistakes.
