Halle: the draw

10.06.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

To open the grass season, Roger will compete in the Gerry Weber Open in Halle this week.

Seeded as No. 1, Roger either starts against Germany's Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (ATP 161) or a qualifier. On his way to his sixth title in Halle, our champ could then play Jerzy Janowicz (ATP 22), Tommy Haas (ATP 11), Milos Raonic (ATP 15) and finally Richard Gasquet (ATP 9).
To his fans' delight Roger will also compete in the doubles draw together with last year's winner Tommy Haas. They will meet Jürgen Melzer/Philipp Petzschner in the first round.

GOODMANIA, I didn't mean that Roger must not learn using moon ball or using backhand slice effectively as Nadal, I just wanted to note that the moon ball skill doesn't work on grass.

well, he wants to spend more time with family its great!!! but forget about winning more titles... this is the ATP tour, not the club&casino membership for billionaires.... if he wants to keep winning he must play more tournaments and more intensely!

Robba/I never said that i said implement and combine it with roger's game which make it more perfect and will make it a lot easier to beat nadal than now.

He meana that Fed is slowing down, less tournaments, more time for the family etc.
That comes with less titles and training

IVRogerIV/ yes I am just saying learn the secret about nadal's backhand slicing defense which is better than anyone else to implement it into roger's game because with it roger will be more perfect because his attacking is invinceable and also his defense will be invinceable by implementing nadal's method of backhand slicing defense. Roger would have won over 26 slams if Roger didn't get the mono virus which took away all his strenth but with doing what I said, Roger can win 30 slams with mono

so Roger watch a lot of nadal's backhand slicing defending skills and where he place to neutralize and make it yours combining with your game. you will be invinceable. Nadal cannot learn your winner making abillity because you are born with the amazing talent but you can learn nadal's secret about backhand slicing defense to neutralize opponent's winners and never make unforced errors to put high pressure on a opponent all the time!

Roger you are better at everything than nadal except for one thing backhand slicing defense(not offense you are bettter at backhand slicing offense) ! but this small thing gives nadal amazing advantage if you notice. Nadal Neutralize every winners by this backhand slicing defense. his backhand slicing defense placement is great that a opponent cannot execute it because it comes deep. you give too many free easy points to opponents while Nadal never give away free points with this backhand slice

Guys no one really cares about the doubles match, Roger and Haas joined doubles just to have more preparation matches for Wimbledon an never play and those guys never play doubles so it's expected for them to lose against the guys who won 2 grand slam titles in doubles.

BOTING what do you mean it's his transition year?? I don't understand... he makes a transition into what??

Maybe you don't know but what makes Nadal not that much strong on grass is that the moonball skill doesn't actually work well on grass, even with Nadal. On clay the ball bounces around 1.65m with Nadal but on grass with Nadal it only bounces 1.15m, that's why it would be useless for Roger to try it on grass.
