Finals in Halle!

15.06.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger booked a spot in the final in Halle after beating defending champion Tommy Haas 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 today.

Roger made far too many errors in the opening set, but surged to a 3-0 lead in the second set thanks to a series of forehand and volley winners. From then on, our champ looked sharp on the grass court, remaining solid on his serve and keeping up the pressure in the rematch of last year's final. He converted his second match point after 1 hour and 38 minutes of play.

Roger needs just one more victory for his sixth Halle title - he will play play either Frenchman Richard Gasquet or Russian Mikhail Youzhny on Sunday. It would be his first tournament title this season.

Boting: it doesn't matter how many matches you have watched. You have a negative loser's mindset, and you are spreading your negativity as a defense against your own feelings. Please stop.
