Finals in Halle!

15.06.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger booked a spot in the final in Halle after beating defending champion Tommy Haas 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 today.

Roger made far too many errors in the opening set, but surged to a 3-0 lead in the second set thanks to a series of forehand and volley winners. From then on, our champ looked sharp on the grass court, remaining solid on his serve and keeping up the pressure in the rematch of last year's final. He converted his second match point after 1 hour and 38 minutes of play.

Roger needs just one more victory for his sixth Halle title - he will play play either Frenchman Richard Gasquet or Russian Mikhail Youzhny on Sunday. It would be his first tournament title this season.

Youzhny is playing like a hero out there. Roger not able to convert the 5 chances he had in first set. I still pray that Roger wins this tough competition

He will most likely win the match. Losing is not an option for him today! ;)

Neither do I. even if he wins.
With this game, Roger, you'll be easy prey for Novak, Rafa and Andy.
I'm sorry, but I've lost faith that you will win Wimbledon.
