Wimbledon: the draw

22.06.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger faces a truly tough challenge for the defense of his Wimbledon crown this year: he could meet Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals, Andy Murray in the semis and then Novak Djokovic in the final.

Roger will open his quest for an eight title on Monaday against Victor Hanesecu of Romania (ATP 47), against whom he has won all five encounters so far. Sergiy Stakhovsky (ATP 117) or Rogerio Dutra Silva (ATP 102) could follow in round two.
Fabio Fognini (ATP 30) and Nicolas Almagro (ATP 15) would then be possible opponents before an explosive quarter-final against Rafael Nadal - this year's no.5 seed.

The "hardest" the draw... the "better" you play!

You WANT to do it
You KNOW HOW to do it
You CAN do it
You WILL do it

Just do it!

First, wishing you the every best in defense of your title.
Second, I believe you were put in the worst part of the draw having to beat nadal, murray and then djokovic to repeat as champion is stupid crazy.
Third, I hope you can repeat as champion proving why you are the greatest to ever play the game.

Much love
Your biggest fan

Well I have twice complained to the BBC sports website about the amount of coverage Andy Murray gets, ie almost two thirds of a page and very very little on Roger. It hasn't made any difference I regret to say. I can't stand the jingoism in this country and wholeheartedly embrace Roger. X
