Roger to play Hamburg

03.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

I am also looking forward to competing in Hamburg this summer. I always did very well at Rothenbaum, played some fantastic matches and celebrated important victories there - great memories!

Mr.Federer, enjoy the match and good luck!! win or lose we always love you! thank you to bring so much joy in our life. Why people discussing Andy Murray on Mr.Federer's web page? let Mr.Murray has his moment he is very well deserved to win, there is nothing wrong with Britain celebrate after 77 years to won a Wimbledon title,Mr.Murray is a hero .

I agree BBC coverage was over the top too. Even after the first set - music! I wonder if I should launch yet another complaint ..... lol

That's ok guys.. It's the British media celebrating the success of Andy (U.K. If not British). Even the American media hyped another Andy (Roddick) when he won the USO 2003 saying that he'd be the next Sampras (with his big serve).. Unfortunately Roger completely blocked him everywhere. But he's still a great champion, even though I was annoyed by that hype then.. So this kind of celebration is to be expected. The funny thing is they started these kind of clips well before he actually won Wimby.

Roger, I have been mesmerized by your tennis artistry since you first began your career and I'm continually awed by your mastery on the court. Thank you for being an extraordinary role model--for players in your sport, for athletes in general, and for people across the globe who can aspire to achieve the level of grace and class that is your hallmark. You are a true joy to behold and I hope that the remainder of this season is filled with victory and satisfaction for you!

Andy deserved the title, no doubt about that but I watched everything on the BBC and I was really fed up with how the BBC announced Murray's matches, it looked like trailers for a big blockbuster movie. Andy is Scottish when he loses and he's British when he wins. He's a proud Scot and used to snub the English stating he would rather win the US Open. Now that he has won, The English just pretend Scotland and England are one and the same. Shame on you BBC.

He played doubles in Halle with Tommy Hass and they were defeated in the first round!

IT'S GOOD TO KNOW HE IS PLAYING IN THESE TOURNAMENTS, WHAT I FEEL IS HE NOT PLAYING BADLY BUT HE IS LITTLE OUT OF MATCH PRACTICE, HE IS RIGHT IN PLAYING LESS TOURNAMENTS TO ELONGATE HIS CAREER, BUT I WOULD LIKE HIM TO PLAY DOUBLES IN THE TOURNAMENTS HE IS AVOIDING TO PLAY, THAT WILL GIVE HIM MUCH NEEDED MATCH PRACTICE AND AT SAME TIME HE WONT BE EXAUSTED, REMEMBER WHAT IT DID TO HIM WHEN HE PLAYED DOUBLES IN OLYMPICS 2008 AND WON U.S OPEN AFTER LOOSING WIMBLEDON AND FRENCH OPEN FINAL
