Quarters in Hamburg

18.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger easily advanced to the round of the last eight in Hamburg, defeating Czech qualifier Jan Hajek 6-4, 6-3 today.

Roger had some trouble with his game in the beginning, but nevertheless secured the first set 6-4. He continued to raise his game, not allowing a single break-point in the second set, eventually closing out the match with his sixth match point.

He will next play Germany's Florian Mayer (ATP 45).

I can't believe this. So many break opportunities wasted and unable to hold his serve. I worry about his back when his serve is below par.
