Quarters in Hamburg

18.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger easily advanced to the round of the last eight in Hamburg, defeating Czech qualifier Jan Hajek 6-4, 6-3 today.

Roger had some trouble with his game in the beginning, but nevertheless secured the first set 6-4. He continued to raise his game, not allowing a single break-point in the second set, eventually closing out the match with his sixth match point.

He will next play Germany's Florian Mayer (ATP 45).

Roger needs to serve much better tomorrow... Delbonis has nothing to lose and is dangerous... Better tidy up some of those crappy points...
