Gstaad: the draw

22.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger is back at the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open in Gstaad.

After a first round bye and seeded as no. 1, Roger will try to repeat his 2004 victory in the Swiss mountains.

In his first match, Roger will meet the winner of the match between Daniel Brands and his friend Marco Chiudinelli. In the quarter final, he could play Spain's Bautista Agut before a meeting with Argentia's Juan Monaco is likely in the semis. In the final, a Swiss encounter with Stanislas Wawrinka could be possible.

EVERYBODY WHETHER WE ARE ROMANTIC OR CYNICAL WE ALL SUPPORT ROGER SO DO NOT RESORT CALLING PEOPLE NAMES OR ADJECTIVES.

IF ONE'S BEING RUDE & ABUSIVE TO ROGER, THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY AND I'LL BE THE FIRST TO CALL HIM/HER OUT.

THESE ARE HARD TIMES FOR ROG AND YOU COULD SEE HE PLAYED THE LAST 3 POINTS OF DELBONIS MATCH/HAMBURG VERY STIFFLY.

HK DID NOT BROADCAST GSTAAD MATCH BUT BITS WERE SHOWN ON NEWS - ROG WAS NOT MOVING WELL.

WISH FOR HIS RECOVERY - STAY CALM

I always followed him like a crazy, watched all of his matches, remember even the points and shots he played, but its so sad and heartbreaking when he loses to a guy who is nowhere near his ranking or caliber

To MISSFED

Truth is always hard to digest , some of you are so dumb to realize that one day its gonna happen.

London is not very far away only time can tell, I said he may qualify but as no 8 :(

Sorry if you didn't like my comment

Another early defeat... Please Roger if you have injury do not play.

I just want you to be OK physically and mentally. In some point you will find victory ways again.

Come ON Roger

He is actually on a good way to qualify. He is sixth out of 8spots, so no reason to panic. My concern is the injury not London.

To A.I

Are you being a twit!!!! Roger was injured that why he couldn't play his best tennis. Some of you are being so stupid. Roger admitted he got a back injury. Roger isn't going to be another Hewitt.

Roger can qualify for London if you still in the top eight.

He is making mockery of himself :(

If he has decided to play and has no problems with such defeats then he is going towards making himself another Hewitt.

For London, I doubt he qualifies :(
