Gstaad: the draw

22.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger is back at the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open in Gstaad.

After a first round bye and seeded as no. 1, Roger will try to repeat his 2004 victory in the Swiss mountains.

In his first match, Roger will meet the winner of the match between Daniel Brands and his friend Marco Chiudinelli. In the quarter final, he could play Spain's Bautista Agut before a meeting with Argentia's Juan Monaco is likely in the semis. In the final, a Swiss encounter with Stanislas Wawrinka could be possible.

I can't remeber but did Roger have problems with his back during Wimbledon? It would explain everything.

Dear Roger
We don't need to hear, it's obvious from your play! I was not watching the match, but according to the livescores there must be something wrong with your back! You didn't forget to play tennis, you just forgot to pay attention to your own health! Playing Hamburg and Gestaad was a terrible mistake. I hope you'll feel much better for Montreal, Cinci and USO!
Wish you all the best dearest Roger!
Loove, Mimi

Now it is clear......back muscle spasm.... Only time and rest will solve that. Please do what it takes to be well again and in the meantime hope that your fans will understand that you are not a machine even if you are as close to perfection as any human has a right to be.........you are still and ever will be....just the best.

Some of you will disagree and some of you will agree, but here are my opinions:

Is Roger getting worser and worser results? Yes
Can he still beat Nadal? No
Can he beat Dokovic? No
Can he beat Murray? No
Can he beat any of the top players? Half chance
Is racket the cause of why he's losing? No, its himself
Is it back pain? If he had back pain why will he be playing
Will Federer win another title? Unlikely
Is he still the GOAT? Yes
Do I still love Federer? Yes, I would love him forev

Have you read what Roger said, he was on painkillers and has support back brace. Some of you don't believe in Roger, that makes me annoyed. Roger was in pain.
