Gstaad: the draw

22.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger is back at the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open in Gstaad.

After a first round bye and seeded as no. 1, Roger will try to repeat his 2004 victory in the Swiss mountains.

In his first match, Roger will meet the winner of the match between Daniel Brands and his friend Marco Chiudinelli. In the quarter final, he could play Spain's Bautista Agut before a meeting with Argentia's Juan Monaco is likely in the semis. In the final, a Swiss encounter with Stanislas Wawrinka could be possible.

Hopefully this is the cause. Bcos I saw him in Hamburg and it was far from convincing.

Fancyfree it is not funny.

Roger admitted in a press conference

"RF: I took a lot of anti-inflammatory last week, not this week it is a muscle spasm in the back"

"Not certain I'll play Montreal. I have a week before me. It's a lot and little at the same time."

Awww poor Roger,

Please take it steady and recover...i don't think you should've played today but being the greatest isn't easy. I know you don't like talking about it but thanks for sharing.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and if you have to then miss Canada...just be healthy.

We and the rest of the world will wait for you.

Roger admitted that he was suffering from muscular spasm. That why he lost the match.

I am not sad that Roger lost as I knew that he was injured. He had a back strapped up in Hamburg. There was news all over the twitter or somewhere said that Roger would have pulled out of this tournament as he is so much pain but had to fulfill the commitments of the fans and tournament. I feel sorry for Roger as his back is not helping him at all. I wanted him to win something to give him confidence. FANS PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ROGER OFF. HE WAS INJURED AT THIS TOURNAMENT. GET WELL SOON ROGER.
