Roger loses to Brands

25.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 3

Roger had to admit a 3-6, 4-6 defeat against Daniel Brands in Gstaad today.

Roger had a total of five break-balls during the entire match, unfortunately he wasn't able to make use of any of them. "It did get better from day to day this week. Only after the warm-up did I decide if I would play," Roger said to the problems he is currently experiencing with his back.

Monday in a week is the start in Montreal, followed by the tournaments in the US. "I will give myself three, four days time and will discuss with the team. We'll take it from there," Roger added in regard to his participation in Canada.

Comm'on! Novak, a nobody? It's a bit silly comment from a proud father but Nole is on the verge of writing history, if he wins Cincy.. Just GS count doesn't make a player great.. He is the only player after Roger among active players to dominate the season for 2 consecutive seasons (possibly a 3rd, very likely), maybe Hewitt too.. He has changed his attitude on court for the past couple of years.. Just his family needs to 'be quiet' from making such remarks on Roger..

he does have 13 wins against him and won 8 of 9 masters 1000

so hes not really a nobody to him.

thats a bit harsh saying he is a nobody compared to roger.

and that silly comment that Roger didn't treat him well because he couldn't understand who novak would become? But,who has he become? He has accomplished nothing compared to our Roger, why would Roger be jealous of a nobody, compared to him?Maybe father djokovic should focus on his son's awful attitude towards the crowd when it doesn't support him(for example when he lost to Dimitrov)and his endless need to focus everyone's attention on him by doing impersonations and other circus numbers.....

it's so obvious what's going on with novak's father. He believed that his son would become Roger Federer, but now,he can't even win Murray. He has only 5 or six(?) grand slams and in his best era and condition, can't accomplish anything more. That's all.The family's ego is at the bottom. It's not a coinsidence that he accuses Roger and Nadal, the players that he looked up to and thought he would become.Disgusting attitude and his son should stop him.He is embarassing his son......

TREE THAT BEAR TOO MUCH FRUITS,PEOPLE ALWAYS THROW STONE TO IT....Roger`s achievements are unreachable that`s why many are envious..

Djokovic's father accuses Nadal of lack of sporting spirit after a few comments he made to the Serbian media. Then, he goes on to say that Nadal gets along very well with his son, Nole, as long as Nadal defeats Djokovic and no the other way round.
Nadal's reply to this is that he has always had a good relationship with Nole independently of the result of the match and he has never had any problem with both, father and son.
Anyway, the Spanish media will never get at Rafa Nadal.
