Roger loses to Brands

25.07.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 3

Roger had to admit a 3-6, 4-6 defeat against Daniel Brands in Gstaad today.

Roger had a total of five break-balls during the entire match, unfortunately he wasn't able to make use of any of them. "It did get better from day to day this week. Only after the warm-up did I decide if I would play," Roger said to the problems he is currently experiencing with his back.

Monday in a week is the start in Montreal, followed by the tournaments in the US. "I will give myself three, four days time and will discuss with the team. We'll take it from there," Roger added in regard to his participation in Canada.

However, I Agree with everyone that you are the best suited person to asses your situation, play and have fun as long as your body feels 100% and the game and magic will come back, gooooo ROger!!!!!!!

Roger: Health first, you know that more than anyone, health comes wityh rest, chiropractic help and a lot of conditioning. In 2006 you played 97 games and you were in better shape than ever, it really looked like you hit the weights a lot that off season, do that again this time and you will keep and stay competitive. People recommneded here to go see Tony Robbins, he might be the Answer since he is a chiropractic guru who really helped Serena Williams who is closing in on your GS Record.

His back will heel, but his mind is not in a good place right now.
The only really bad thing about his game is return, this is where he is far behind other three. On serve stats he was top last year. Mentaly he put a lot on himself after he was back at no1. That changed the freedom in his game, the expectations killed it. at his age it obviouslly means so much to him it makes him play worse, I dont believe he forgot how to play. Its in his head and bigger racquet wont solve it.
Best wishes

Yukimi I have had enough of this. You are being ridiculous. You have contradicted yourself because you cannot accept criticism.

I edit because I often mistype and I like attention to detail. As for usage of capitals in headlines, you obviously don't read the UK tabloid newspapers. Here is one example - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/
