Cincinnati: the draw

11.08.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The draw for the Masters-1000 tournament in Cincinnati is out, Roger's path to a sixth victory is no easy one.

After a first-round bye he will either play his first match against Mardy Fish (ATP 78) or Philipp Kohlschreiber (ATP 24). In the quarter-finals, a meeting with Rafael Nadal is possible before Andy Murray could then be waiting in the semis.

As defending champion, Roger is aiming at his sixth victory in Cincinnati after 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012.

ITSANKUR - Thank God, someone has listened! Regards, fancyfree

@ ITSANKUR.

I can't believe what you just said, give credit to Nadal for his success. That what you believe.... How did Nadal get that success?????????

@ Fancyfree why are you being so mean to Roger lovely wife. Roger loves her regardless. Roger doesn't need a model wife to show off. He is proud of Mirka. You supposed to support Roger and his family not slagging off his wife.

I will always support Roger whatever happens.

FANCYFREE,just because you love nadal, doesn't mean that saying the truth that is a common secret in tennis community,is hate. So,what are you saying?that everyone should not say sth negative that he realises,so that we can all feel happy that this is a great world and everything is like a fairytale?
Someone could say that you hate Mirka, then, since you talked about her in such a horrible way today. So,think before you accuse people of such an awful feeling as hate......

Dear Roger,
The wait is over! Yes...very happy to see you back on court. All the best for your upcoming Cincinnati masters tournament. Please take care of your health. Success is yours.
With loads of best wishes,
Harini

FANCYFREE

Agree. Lets focus on Roger right now.

I FULLY SUPPORT FANCYFREE...WELL SAID!! WE ARE FED-LOVERS NOT NADAL- HATERS. IT'S USELESS TO DISCUSS WHETHER HE REALLY HAD INJURY OR NOT. IF HE CHOSE TO TAKE A 7 MONTH OFF WITHOUT INJURY, IT'S HIS DECISION... HE DIDN'T DO ANY DAMAGE TO OTHERS. IT'S ALSO RIDICULOUS TO RAISE QUESTIONS ABOUT DOPING UNLESS HE TESTS POSITIVE. GIVE CREDIT TO HIM FOR HIS HARD WORK AND SUCCESS. LET'S FOCUS ON ROGER, OUR BELOVED CHAMP. HE NEEDS OUR SUPPORT AT THIS MOMENT...

RAMCHARAN,exactly.everything you say is what many people are thinking but are scared to say because of what others might say to them.Well some of us are not scared,we say what we think,we don't say that we know for sure ,and reality is there giving signs for who is truthful or not.
FANCYFREE,the energy you spend saying mean things about Mirka and praising nadal, spend it to cheer for Roger, otherwise i don't understand what you are doing here.

RAMCHARAN whether Rafa is innocent or guilty, I reiterate. There is no need to keep talking about the issue here. It does not reflect well on you and fellow like minders to be so embittered by his presence. It instils hatred which is negative and puts this website under threat as all these allegations are libellous.

Please can we move on. Just concentrate on Roger and what he's up to. That doesn't mean to say we cannot pass the odd comment on his fellow competitors bu in a friendly manner

Faking injury is obvious. To go back and play after a long absence, one has to wonder how bad the knees are. I can't play tennis as much as I used to because it really hurts, and to run from one end to the other is painful. Nadal is like a superman in court - the injury is really in question. Media won't make a big deal out of this unless there is a whistleblower. The secrecy in Spain is heavily guarded.
