Cincinnati: the draw

11.08.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The draw for the Masters-1000 tournament in Cincinnati is out, Roger's path to a sixth victory is no easy one.

After a first-round bye he will either play his first match against Mardy Fish (ATP 78) or Philipp Kohlschreiber (ATP 24). In the quarter-finals, a meeting with Rafael Nadal is possible before Andy Murray could then be waiting in the semis.

As defending champion, Roger is aiming at his sixth victory in Cincinnati after 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012.

@ Fancyfree you are a fedal. No surprised. I am fed up with Nadal getting the glory, his injury is so fake. I feel sorry for Roger who is getting all the backlash from us and media. No one questioned Nadal fake injury. The truth is there. The media will never question Nadal fake injury and how did he recover so quickly, that is questionable. Look at Delpo, it took him a year to get his game back.

I will always support Roger. However blasting Rafa, will not help Roger one iota and really it's getting so tiresome to read again and again and again …..

I know right. I did it last year at a couple of USO matches and some AO matches. The day after i felt horrible, but it was worth it. I've read that his outfit will be dark gray..but I'm not sure.

Kenna, that beautiful back of Tommy Haas has reaped dividends! He won in two sets against Kevin Anderson.

As for Roger's match tonight ….. Oh the temptation to stay up …..

Too bad that Roger is sheduled in the night matches. I really loved to see him. But even when I'm sleeping I will support him.
