Roger races into round 3

29.08.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger booked his spot in round three at the US Open with a clear 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 victory over Carlos Berlocq today.

It took Roger just 95 minutes to wrap up the win against the 30 year old Argentinian. Our champ will now play either France's Adrian Mannarino (ATP 63) or Sam Querrey of the USA (ATP 31).

On a separate note hope Rafa gets tested properly (or beaten) with his match today...Dodig has beaten him in the past.

Shame about Delpo going out. He earns a lot of respect from me and I feel so far he has not achieved what he is capable of. Much prefer him to the Rafas and Djokos of this world! Give me Roger and then Stan any day. No contest! I feel Stan is another who has not achieved what he is capable of, but he is getting there!
Good luck Roger for the next round. Play as you have and here will be no problem, you are doing just fine!

I agree HULIETTA
No matter what the truth is, the comments should have stayed private within the family. It is not the place of Uncle Toni and the father of Djoko, or any players family to start making nasty comments about any Player. Rogers family have got it so right. They are seen to fully support Roger, but largely they remain silent. Certainly they make no comments about other players, no doubt, if they did, they, like their son would find something positive to say.

Dear Roger,
Have a great match tonight and continue your good form against Mannarino. I saw you beat him at Wimbledon a couple of years ago. No contest!
Good luck!

My dearest Maestro, I am so happy that your friend Hewit won. I wonder if now that Delpo lost early ( I like Delpo a lot also sorry) is our Maestro going back to no. 6. I guess I have to go back to @RF4World to check when I have more time.
Good luck to your next match my hero. All your fans will be her cheering for you.
May you have warm and clear night to play under. May you feel good and health. May you have a smooth and fast victory to conserve energy to your next round.
