Federer and Annacone End |Coaching Relationship

12.10.2013 | Off Court, Starseite 3

After a terrific 3 ½ years working together, Paul and I have decided to move on to the next chapter in our professional lives. When we started together we had a vision of a 3 year plan to win another Grand Slam title and get back to the number #1 ranking. Along with many other goals and great memories, these 2 main goals were achieved. After numerous conversations culminating at the end of our most recent training block, we felt like this was the best time and path for both of us. Paul remains a dear friend, and we both look forward to continuing our friendship. I want to thank Paul for his help and the value he has added to me and my team.

KEMNA, I am not a Nadal fan at all, but I have just looked at the Basel site and Nadal had nominated for Basel back in April. It hasn't been a last minute decision on his part to participate.

Remember last year, Nadal was "injured" and was not competing at all. My memory is not great any longer, so I cannot remember the year before.

Also where Djokovic is concerned, he has been going to Basel for years. It is always part of his schedule.

CPICSEAN & PICKA (Hi, Welcome !!!)

Rafa most of the time skipps Basel a few days before. But not this year. Sounds a little bit unfair to me. When Roger is confident and strong, Rafa skipps Basel, now that Roger is on a low confident and losing, now Rafa will play Basel.
Could he be more unfair? Hope Roger shows him once and for all who is boss in HIS backyard, namely Roger.

Also very strange Novak is playing Basel too. He should not be underestimated.
He did defeat Roger in a Basel fina

Picka, You are welcome. I am also eager for the Basel draw. I am hoping that Roger will be able to start rebuilding his 2013 season at Basel.

Hi Cpiscean,
Thank you so much.
Eagerly waiting for Basel draw. Do believe Roger will win. He's capable to do it without coach, I guess.
Yes, it's a good feeling being an RF member, it is a very good community!

Hey guys, maybe you thought I was kidding, but I am kind of not kidding.

If Roger wins the Fan Favourite Award this year again, can we appeal to ATP for changing it in 'the Roger Federer Fan Favourite Award'??

Hey guys... how about this for an idea??

Why don't we make a list and sent it to Roger???

Subject: XXX REASONS WHY ROGER'S REAL DIEHARD FANS DON'T WANT HIM TO RETIRE BEFORE RIO 2016.....

Is that a good idea?? Roger is so disheartened about the fact that now even his own fans call for him to retire. Maybe we should let him KNOW that the fans who want him to keep playing on, are outnumbering the so called "only a Roger fan as long as he wins"...

Good idea???

ILOVEROGER92

I think you can send it in... I mean, do any of you know more words??
I think we have enough.

So stupid, I came up with... AmaRFzing & GoRFat & LegRFend...
How do you guys come up with the better ones???

PS: IloveRoger92, maybe we can come up with names that ends with "erer" and you can sent that to him the next time, like Federer, Goderer, Clutcherer....
Good idea???

Hi PICKA, Welcome to the RF community. I hope you enjoy being an RF fan. For a comprehensive break down of whether Roger will qualify for London, please see this link.

http://www.rogerfedererfans.com/forum/topic/1628-can-roger-federer-qualify-for-world-tour-finals-2013/

Although I cannot speak for Roger, he has probably not included the WTF in his schedule, as it is not a foregone conclusion that he will be there, after all he does have to qualify for it.

Enjoy being an RF member.

Hello everybody!

For years I've been reading your comments and news on Roger, but just 2 days ago decided to be a member. I'm very disappointed on this year performance but still do believe, Roger will give us joy and happiness in 2014. But: I don't see in his schedule the London championship, why? And does he have to reach at least a semi-final in Basel to be in the frist 8 players and to have a chance for London qualification?

Guys,

Is it OK if I send the word game today? Let's make a deadline. Let's say until 5pm you can send in words with 'RF' in it. Is that OK?
