Roger vs. del Potro

26.10.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger booked the second spot in tomorrow's final of the Swiss Indoors by beating Vasek

Pospisil 6-3, 6-7(3), 7-5 today.

It was a tight match and Roger already had the chance to wrap it all up serving for the match at 5-3 in the second set. After losing the tie-break, he fell back 1-3 in the third set before battling back and scoring another break to secure his spot in the final, to the delight of his fans in his hometown Basel.

Roger will play Juan Martin del Potro (ATP 5) in tomorrow's final - our champ can qualify for the World Tour Finals by winning just this one more match.

WALESFEDERATOR - And the 5 year younger Delpo whose opponent threw in the towel yesterday in set 3, whereas Pospisil played his best ever...............and Federer struggled into the final? So let me guess, when all opponents play their best, Federer should just wallop them.....easy sport tennis is then.

Please, dear faithful fans, do not answer to WALESFEDERATOR's provocation. We already know it and it's just not worth bothering.

DNB8769-So should Delpo stay at home since he lost to Djokovic last time, which is the ultimate embarrassment, does he want to avoid further embarrassment, maybe he should not play Bercy or WTF then......see it sounds silly. Form dictated todays winner, Delpo having the strongest end to a year since 2009, Federer's first tournament since his split with Annacone. He did well just to take it to three sets after playing for 160 minutes less than 24 hours ago
