Paris-Bercy: the draw

28.10.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The draw for the Masters in Paris-Bercy is out.

After a first round bye, Roger opens the tournament against the winner of the match between South Africa's Kevin Anderson (ATP 20) and Russia's Mikhail Youzhny (ATP 21). In the following round, a meeting with Tommy Haas (ATP 12) is possible - this would be their third meeting this season. In the quarter-finals, Roger could meet Juan Martin Del Potro (ATP 5) again before an encounter with Novak Djokovic (ATP 2) is possible in the semis.

Wow, the draw is very tough. To win, Roger potentially has to beat the top 3 guys (I don't consider Ferrer to be top 3) in a roll. Good luck! See you in London.

Did you guys hear? Roger took over twitter yesterday with a #AskedRF session (where Roger asked us questions and retweeted the best answers. Great fun!).
In 20 minutes #AskedRF became the top topic on twitter.

Dear Roger,i wish you good luck and a great game today.
As for the Skysport's commentators during novak's match,it makes me wonder, would they praise Roger so much if he was in the awkward position that djokovic was today in the first set?It would be normal to praise the youngster, not trying all the time to find sth good to say about novak. If it was Federer,i wouldn't even want to think how ironic and mean they would have been, they do it frequently lately......
