Roger qualifies for Masters

30.10.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger has qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals twelve times in series thanks to a 6-4, 6-4 victory over South Africa's Kevin Anderson in Paris-Bercy today.

Right from the start, Roger showed that he wanted to dictate play. He broke Anderson straight away, taking a 1-0 lead which he held for the remainder of the opening set. He secured another break early in the second set but battled at 5-2 when he had to drop his own serve. At 5-4 Roger fought off break-points before he made the victory and his participation in London clear after 82 minutes of play.

Roger is the sixth player after Nadal, Djokovic, Ferrer, Del Potro and Berdych to have qualified for the World Tour Finals. In the past eleven years that he participated, he won the tournament six times.

Roger will play Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber on Thursday in Paris-Bercy.

Dear Roger,
Well done ! Keep up the hard work ! People say you have one more grand slam in you ! I say you have more than 1 ! You have what you believe yourself to be and as long as you believe roger no one can take that away from you ! I am tired of watching your matches and hearing the commentators ! When they want to raise someone they do and when they want to constantly bomb someone they do - very selfish ! You are a good person - keep it up ! Do you get to read these comments ?

Well done Maestro, I was delighted when I saw the result against Kevin, and even more delighted that you will be playing in London. London without the Maestro would not have been worth watching. All love

Excellent Roger, your service game is impressive. Keep it up!

:) Congratulations on qualifying for the World Tour Finals, terrific effort! This is the best news because a WTF without ‘The Master’ is not such thing. Happy for you. Well done! Very excited and looking forward to it!

All the best for your next match. Come on!

:) Happy Halloween Roger! (O_O)

Take care. Have a great day.

I love you Roger!...

If you don't you have qualified , my interest for London would be decreased by 90%.
Congratulations and go on Paris!
