Roger defeated by Djokovic

02.11.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger was not able to win his semi-final against Novak Djokovic in Paris-Bercy today, he was defeated 6-4, 3-6, 2-6.

Roger started brilliantly, breaking Djokovic early to take a 2-1 lead and later the set. He scored another break in the beginning of the second set, but Djokovic broke right back and Roger even dropped his serve one more time later on, losing the set. In the decider, Djokovic proved the stronger player, converting break-points to go up 2-1 and even scoring another break to 5-2 and eventually winning the match.

Next week, Roger will play the ATP World Tour Finals in London, having made his qualification for the tournament clear just this week.

It was a fair game. It reflected your game/mental capabilities and limits. You should be satisfied. You must realise to level Djoko or Nadal you need to consolidate your game more.

Always nice to see your twin daughters in your box--just to see one's children can take away many cares of the world [especially when they are small]
The arm chair experts are out and about again--ignore them ,we do not own Roger Federer--he owns us.

London is awaiting you. Wishing you all of the very best for WTF's
Kindest regards
Margaret a chonic fan---Roger Federer is my drug!!

Hello Roger
The more I watch you play the prouder I become --your game ,as I have said many times, is simply beautiful all court game---no present player including those in the top 10 ,play anywhere close to Roger Federer's standard.Just superb games, matches .Bad luck that you did not win this am , but playing 9 matches in 12 days and considering what you have accomplished during this indoor season following a difficult year is for me, more impressive than beating Novak.

Dear Roger,
I'm so sorry you couldn't make it to the final. You played great, but in the second and third set, you had up and downs. Hope your confidence is much bigger than it was few months ago. I see it's bigger! And I'm very happy because your game's coming back! Against Delpo and Djoko, you showed us beautiful movements, shots. I know you are in a right path now, so continue doing this! Wish you good luck in London! You can beat these guys! Just be very confident and focused! Lots of love!

you let your opponent dictate the play
11/03/2013 | 02:41 AM
That was a very timid approach on your part. You were not aggressive which is your natural style of play

Roger you have not had the best year but it's good to see you getting better. I think you have a long way to go still, and a lot to work on to beat the likes of Novak, Nadal, Murray and Delpo on a consistent basis but you've showed signs of that well done!! We your fans believe in you always and we will support you keep working stay healthy. What a beautiful tennis player you we love you rog good in London.
