Three honours for Roger

Roger receives three honours in the 2013 ATP World Tour Awards presented by Moët & Chandon at this week’s Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Roger has been selected by his peers as winner of the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award for a ninth time and by fans as the ATPWorldTour.com Fans’ Favourite presented by Moët & Chandon for an 11th straight year. In addition, the 32-year-old Swiss has been named the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year for a second time in recognition of his foundation’s support of children in Africa and Switzerland. Since 2003, Roger has won a record total of 27 ATP World Tour Awards.

I guess it will take place during the evening. Its cosy to do it in the evening, innit?

Congratulations! I wish you and your wonderful family all the best! It is such pleasure to see that your sportsmanship on and off court as well as your philanthropy being recognized and applauded! What you are doing to help the kids get an education in Africa is very noble. In the near future, I intend to make a substantial contribution to your foundation, as I believe it will be put to really good results. Perhaps I can get you to extend your foundation to other areas of poverty ...
