Roger defeated by Nadal

10.11.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger's quest for the title at the 2013 ATP World Tour Finals was stopped with a 5-7, 3-6 defeat by Rafael Nadal in the semis today.

The start of the match was very tight and chances looked good for Roger as he had break points on three occasions but unfortunately never managed to go all the way. It was Nadal who then did manage to break Roger's serve to take a 5-4 lead. But as Nadal was serving for the set, Roger battled back and scored a break himself - only for the Spaniard to do so as well on Roger's serve and then serve for the set successfully. In the second set, Roger was broken to fall behind 2-3 and committing too many errors - 32 in total - he was unable to fight back.

oh,dopers always do well, they win medals, games and when they are old, they start whining and giving interviews of their actions asking for forgiveness. And these are the athletes that feel remorse, there are many who never do and never say anything.
It's trully paranormal for someone to accuse the others that they are trying to find peace in nadal's losses, when he is the pathetic one, trying to find peace in Roger's site after his fake heroe's humiliation.

FEDERER'S#1FAN,let him say that Roger is a finished hero.First of all, that means that he/she,accepts that Roger is a hero.Secondly, heroes are never finished,he just doesn't know what that word means.Once a hero, always a hero.
It's like,once a doper,always a doper.
The difference is,hero is a legend,the other,a disgrace......

You are right, and i add that Novak has solved Nadal's forehand down the line.

Nadal said the difference was from his bad serve while Navak's very good. In fact, he didn't serve badly but Novak's return was awesome that pressured and detoriorated his serve. His eyes are full of anger while standing for trophy celemony (in Beijing as well). He will come back for sure to take vengeance.

P.s Nadal looked Finished and totally Gone in that final. His easy peasy draw did Nothing for him.

Feds only missed one tournament and played solid matches ...he didn't look so Whacked as Faker Raf.

Two words for the Nadal people on here "Lance Armstrong" its just a matter of time.

There is no shame O GREAT ONE coming second to a bully like Rafa I take great comfort knowing that you still have the fire to carry on playing your beautiful tennis.I'm sure there will be other times when you blow these young guns off the court but those times will get less, that is natural, but take heart these young men are getting older too and I don't think a lot of them will be around as long as you.so in a way being in the top ten after all these years is just magic.Have a good rest nowx
