Who would he like to play himself in a film--RF A good actor!
Naming a baby after one of the present players--RF crazy question--decided on Novak & Serena but need to ask Mirka first.
The ball kids all lined up. One, a couple of years who caught a ball the Roger hit to him, was introduced and presented a cheque for $6000.00's raised by them.Photo taken with them.
Finally a message from his mother brought tears to many eyes including her wonderful son

Kemna-- Thank you --yes it was great to see Roger [for me again]but what was so amazing was to meet the number of people who travelled long distances to see and watch him play his wonderful tennis. The love and respect for him as a tennis player and a person is second to none. The atmosphere last evening was similar to Brisbane EVERYONE wanted and were happy to be there. I personally have not experinced this before at tennis tournaments [have been to a few in my time] Secondly the aussies love

Hey guys, just to let you know, from now on this is my mantra:

NO MORE PRESSURE ON ROGER TO WIN OR TO GET THE TITLE, NO MORE EXPECTATIONS, ONLY LOVE AND RESPECT FOR ROGER, ONLY GOODWISHES FOR ROGER, ONLY FAITH IN ROGER AND HIS ABILLITIES....

I WILL TAKE IT ONE POINT, ONE SET, ONE MATCH AT THE TIME..... AND IF ALL GOES WELL AND IS MEANT TO BE, THAN ROGER WILL BE HOLDING THE TROPHY.... ON HIS OWN AND BECAUSE OF HIS HARDWORK, FIGHTING SPIRIT, NEVER GIVE UP-ATTITUDE AND HIS HUNGER TO WIN.......

SDANU, hey, what do people expect? Roger played with the same racquet for more than 15 years, of course he has to get use to the new racquet. He has only been playing with it for about 2 months. He said himself it was going to take him upto April or so to get use to it and to get into full form.

Somethings he has to work on himself (converting more BP, etc) and than he will be all fine. I read somewhere that he has now more aces above 200 km...
That is an improvement right???

PADDYT, is it your birthday today? If yes, than a very happy birthday and wish you many many happy and healthful years to come. You are so lucky to have been there.

HUGHSIE, Margaret, thank you for your comments. Wow, it must have been so great to see Roger. But was it sold out? The commentators said it was not completely sold out. Kudos to Hewitt. He was nice and a great commentator. Loved the fact that he did not rub it in that he beat Roger.
Roger was so moved by the ballkids present...

serving for over 2 hrs.Roger hit a ball up into the ceiling then challenged [the crowd loved it] Hawkeye replied with a ?.Point replayed. Roger did win one challenge!!
Both men served very well, some long and exciting rallies with great CC shots all in a relaxed and enjoyable manner. For those who say that Roger's movement is not as good now--I disagree.IMO he has changed his steps and the way that he moves--quite fascinating to watch.
Tea time for family will finish later
