@Casper_AMR...some reasons may be...he didn't play last Monte Carlo year so won't loose any points...MC is considered the slowest clay court in the world...also in between playing Miami and Madrid has a nice long break to recuperate if need be so a very sensible decision I think.

I had been waiting for this for six weeks.....
