Brisbane: the draw

30.12.2013 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger will open his 2014 season in Brisbane, a tournament he has never played before. Seeded number one, he will play either Jarkko Nieminen or Australia's James Duckworth after a first-round bye.

Roger has won all 13 encounters with Nieminen (ATP 39) so far. He has never played against Duckworth, who was invited by the Australian organisers.

After that Roger could face Dmitry Tursunov (ATP 29), Kevin Anderson (ATP 20) and Kei Nishikori (ATP 17) further on in the tournament.

Roger will also be participating in the doubles alongside Frenchman Nicolas Mahut. The two will enter the tournament as number one seeds facing the Dutch-Romanian team Rojer/Horia Tecau.

I don't think Murray will ever get it as he is unlikely to have the same kudos! As for David Beckham, sorry but yuck! lol

On a separate note fancyfree, can you imagine if Roger was a Brit how many times he's be knighted lol. The number of accolades would've been colossal don't you think?

He doesn't need any of that anyway....he'll always be The King xxx
