Australian Open: the draw

10.01.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The coming Australian Open is Roger's 57th consecutive Grand Slam tournament. He will meet Australia's James Duckworth (ATP 134) in the opening round. He would then play the winner of the match between Radek Stepanek (ATP 45) and Blaz Kavcic (ATP 102).

Likely opponents after that are: Fernando Verdasco (round three), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (round of the last sixteen) or last year's finalist Andy Murray (quarters).
Rafael Nadal is in the same half of the draw as Roger - the two legends could meet in the semi-finals.

Stakhovsky lost - so no chance for revenge this time round.

Del Potro lost his first set and Hewitt is down a set and a break to Seppi. What's happening?

Good Roger wrapped up his match in the heat of the day!

Dear Rogerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,

I have to repeat: Keep the serve 100% and powerful. Don't rush like a fool to the net against top players. Keep the stamina until 3rd, 4th or 5th sets. The moment you lose your stamina, you're in trouble. Also, stay mentally strong!!!

Dear Federerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,

Good start, but pleaser REMEMBER: Serve 100% with accuracy & POWER. Don't Rush to the NET like a fool against top players. Don't commit unforced errors that ruin your game & are self-destructive. Keep the POWER and STAMINA until the third, fourth & fifth set, whatever! Most of all, believe in yourself. If you can be calm & active without fear, you'll go a long way!!! Best of Luck!!!

Good serving at end. Good start keep racquet head up and out front when waiting for volley. Stephen will know what I mean. Good luck. You can win everytime you step on the court. Let other players know.
