Australian Open: the draw

10.01.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The coming Australian Open is Roger's 57th consecutive Grand Slam tournament. He will meet Australia's James Duckworth (ATP 134) in the opening round. He would then play the winner of the match between Radek Stepanek (ATP 45) and Blaz Kavcic (ATP 102).

Likely opponents after that are: Fernando Verdasco (round three), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (round of the last sixteen) or last year's finalist Andy Murray (quarters).
Rafael Nadal is in the same half of the draw as Roger - the two legends could meet in the semi-finals.
