Quarters in Dubai

26.02.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger defeated Radek Stepanek 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3 in Dubai today to reach the quarter-finals.

Roger had to battle for the victory, failing to hold his first serve in all three sets and thus always having to rally back. After the break in the final set, Roger fortunately managed one himself right away and then secured the win thanks to a solid final phase of the match.

Roger will now meet Lukas Rosol (ATP 49) in the quarter-finals on Thursday.

Thank heavens for that. First service game, second set in bag, but he did wobble a bit!
As for that shirt. I often think that a colour like that could camouflage the ball at the right angle and feel they should be banned! I might be wrong but not a lot of contrast between ball and top.
