Roger advances into semis

14.03.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger advanced into the semis in Indian Wells without any trouble, defeating Kevin Anderson (ATP 18) 7-5, 6-1.

Roger was fully in control once more, only having to defend a break-point once early in the match. Anderson's strong serve did not trouble our champ and he finally managed to break the South African in the last game of the opening set. With two more breaks in the second set, he wrapped up the match after 69 minutes.

"It was big to win the set and then to go on to break early in the second. Then double break was like a bonus. From then on I was home, basically. It was a really good match for me," Roger said.

Roger will now meet Alexandr Dolgopolov (ATP 31).

Why don't you time into Sky commentary Shatir and just watch the action on the big screen! - http://cricfree.tv/sky-sports-3-live-stream-uk.php

And you too, ILR! :)

I have Robbie Koenig commentating on Ten Sports. Gotta say, I find the man decidedly unpleasant. Has to have something cheeky to say all the time!

Thanks Fancyfree but only a minute to go in the basketball and I'm watching on the big screen but I love watching Roger walk on.

Any of us girls think Dogo is also quite attractive?

Sounded like Dolgopolov won the toss and chose to receive. Seems nervous of him! Plus Roger should be happy to serve first.
