Roger defeated in final

17.03.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger was defeated 6-3, 3-6, 6-7(3) by Novak Djokovic in today's final in Indian Wells.

Roger started brilliantly, taking a 3-0 lead thanks to aggressive play and great serves, taking the first set. Unfortunately he couldn't continue on the exact same level in the second set, falling behind with an early break. In the decider, Djokovic was a break up again and serving for the set when Roger came back with a fantastic return game to  stay in the match. Later, in the tie-break, Roger was clearly defeated 3-7.

@VISHAKHA
One more thing, I saw the troll is back again when ROGER has just lost one match only! I liked the way you defended & reacted. Really eager to see this time how long he continues to show up here. Such a shameless person that is!

You are right. I know happy days are coming on considering his first set performance. But I just let my frustration out, sorry.You know I did not take part in 'HOLI' as my day was already bitter & kept myself confined in my room. Hope this will pass soon.
Also let me know which channel showing Miami?

@MI5
No I still believe it was Roger's match only until he started serving badly.I was amazed to see our man did not start all out aggressively in second set rather he started serving really poorly & conceded his second service game. Again at 6-5 in 3rd he did not go all out attacking.So it's kind of he defeated himself rather than being defeated by Djoko, which Roger often mentioned on few occasions in previous year. I just feared that same psychology is creeping back.

Hey guys
On the ATP-Website they made a funny mistake. They just published on "latest news" an article about the beginning of season 2013, which is awfully old with all the expectations for last year. Really lol
I wonder how long the article will be online before they notice.

Hey SOMNATH11099, you make it sound as if Roger lost on purpose or as if it had been a devastating loss. Nothing of the kind!
Winning and loosing go hand on hand in sports. And Djoko did his part, no doubt about it.
Roger is actually playing great tennis, which is a delight to watch, and he is ranked no 2 in the race to London. Look at the bright side of Roger!

Don't worry..Happy days are coming ahead.Don't be so sad, think of the awesomeness roger gave in all those matches before this loss in the finals :)

Dear IDOL,
Still can not believe how your level dropped so drastically in the second set just few moments after you had been playing so magnificently!One of the saddest day in my life to see you squandering the match. I don't believe in 'BRAIN GAME' or analysis like those.I just felt you lost the match for your poor first service % in second set & in tiebreaker you served out the match for Djoko by yourself , he did not have to do anything. Hope you will get over with in Miami.
Love & Respect.
