Monte-Carlo: the draw

13.04.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger will open the clay-court season with the Masters 1000 tournament in Monte-Carlo this week.

After a first-round bye, Roger will either meet Ivo Karlovic (ATP 52) or Radek Stepanek (ATP 40) in round number two.

He could then play Jerzy Janowicz (ATP 21) in the round of the last sixteen, before possibly facing Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP 12) in the quarter-finals.

Roger could then be in for another clash with Novak Djokovic (ATP 2) - the current title-holder - in the semis.

Where is Coach Stefan? Is he not on board on this tournament because it was scheduled at the last minute? Hopefully he will be back for Madrid and Rome since he was a good clay player altough most people dont remember that. Train hard with the magician and stan champ, always cheering ,best of lucks.

Roger: Good luck tomorrow, you have to serve perfectly and try to play deep, he will try to get the ball to you. Time to gain points, if you serve flawlessly and you attack always on the opponents serve and you stay focused you are going to get 1000 points and recover the third position on monday. You can do it, and if you do it you will only miss two crowns to get the golden masters. Play hard, be resilian and serve perfectly, best of lucks.
