Re Kei Nishkori
Many of us, including myself, have been following this wonderful player for a number of years--have watched him live several times. Athletic when not injured, he would be one of, if not the fastest, of the men's players. Brilliant ground strokes and following his s/f against Ferrer has it all mentally.
Michael Chang, Kei says, has given him much confidence and assisted him with his serving.
Lets hope that injuries do not hinder the rise of this most humble man.

My feeling is that having pulled out of Madrid, it would reflect perhaps badly if he was to do the same with Rome.

He has 500/600 points to defend and it would also break his momentum of him playing superbly.

now that it looks more than likely that Federer will play at Rome, this is how seeding scenarios for French Open look for the maestro (scroll down to the last post) ---

***FANCYFREE*** I was offline all day so i was slow catching up on reading the comments on this site. I still have to go back now and catch up. Did anyone translate the article where robbie commented on how well mirka and the boys were doing? I saw he said everything went wonderfully and mirka was in a good mood. The article was not in english.

JODOUG I posted some news here earlier. According to Christopher Clarey
@christophclarey Global Sports columnist & correspondent The New York Times, Roger will be playing Rome and arrives there tomorrow, Monday. https://twitter.com/christophclarey

Poor kei. Just as we figured. The match yesterday took too much out of him. If he continues to be a grinder, he has got to get his body to agree to this. He probably could have pulled this off with a bit more body stamina. Injuries got him last time. At least this time he got on the court and performed pretty well until he couldn't. Next thing for chang to work on, fitness for kei. Now the important thing, is roger playing rome or not? Where is the draw info on the home page?
