Switzerland - Czech Republic

12.04.2007 | Tennis

After the first-round defeat in the World Group against Spain, the Swiss team will now meet the Czech Republic in their Davis Cup encounter on September 21 to 23.

It will be the first time after a total of six matches that the Swiss team will not be playing in their own country. Roger has not yet decided if he will be take part.

The Czech Republic, lead by captain Tomas Berdych (ATP 14), had lost against the USA in February. They lead the head-to-head against Switzerland 5-2 and have won all encounters played in the Czech Republic so far.
