Roger eases into round two

25.05.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger easily reached the secound round of the French Open after a 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 win over Lukas Lacko.

"I wasn't nervous actually going into the match. It's more just like those hints of fear, maybe yesterday, maybe this morning at one point, just for like five seconds, `Oh, I really hope I don't have to pack my bags today,' that kind of feeling," Roger commented.

Roger will meet a qualifyer in the next round, either Gastao Elias (ATP 178) or Diego Sebastian Schwartzman (ATP 109).

Yes I like Leighton Paddy and had been following the score but forgot to check the actual result What a pity! Roger in his younger days was a little bit of a hothead too!

Good morning everyone...just woken and sorry to see Dimitrov is out...also our Aussie Hewitt and seems I am a 'rare' Aussie fan...lol. I actually think Hewitt has done a lot for Australian tennis though do admit in his early years he was an arrogant pain in the butt but that was years ago and he has grown up since and gives his all each match. He's a gusty player who supports and plays every Davis Cup for Australia. He's also a great family man and is a good friend to Roger.

For head-to-heads I just look up the ATP website.
For ranking scenarios, I refer to live-tennis.eu
Some things (mostly to do with Roger), I have committed to memory. :P

You always have the answers Shatir! Do you have a tennis encyclopaedia? Or do you just Google?

Just looked that up:
Karlovic has a 1-3 record against Del Po and a 3-2 record against Isner.
