Roger eases into round two

25.05.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger easily reached the secound round of the French Open after a 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 win over Lukas Lacko.

"I wasn't nervous actually going into the match. It's more just like those hints of fear, maybe yesterday, maybe this morning at one point, just for like five seconds, `Oh, I really hope I don't have to pack my bags today,' that kind of feeling," Roger commented.

Roger will meet a qualifyer in the next round, either Gastao Elias (ATP 178) or Diego Sebastian Schwartzman (ATP 109).

I spend a lot of time at around this time in the morning watching tennis. Approximately 11 months of the year so I am quite used to it. I find it harder to do Wimbledon than the French. That 2 hours later makes a huge difference on this end.

Lol. Failed hotdog attempt. He is bringing out the trick shots now. Good to see him enjoying it.

Looks like no bagel.
In hindsight, it may have been shallow to predict bagels just cuz Schwarzman is a short guy. :P

My bad. Too tired read Connors rather than Courier. I can believe it from Courier. :-)
